I took a closer look at one of the iconic artwork of of Titanic's sinking. This particular one made shortly in the aftermath of the disaster.

I can't believe no one noticed all this time, but the ship has some kind of filigree design on the stern. Similar to ones on the stern of the Imperator(Berengaria), which was likely in service shortly after the Titanic disaster.

I want to see a photoshop of Titanic's stern with that filigree design from the drawing.

Second is one of the posters for the 1929 Titanic/Atlantic movie:

Actually it is well known. It's mainly based on the German ships, look for example at the stern of Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse.
By the way if you look closely you will see a 3 bladed centre propeller. ;)

It's more a coincidence. The SS Athinai was used for the aboard the raised Titanic scenes which had those large vents at the bow. So they added them to the model of Titanic.
