Hi, I am sorry if this is not the correct place to ask this question but thought I would give a try. Some time ago I saw the end of a documentary on Titanic. I cannot remember what channel it was on. I believe either HIstory or A&E. ANyway, it told the story of Titanic and how the plans to build her came about. It also told how she was built and followed two of the workers (aprentices)that helped build her. I cannot remember the name of this documentary and would to see it in its entirety. Possible purchase it on DVD if available. My question is this..does anyone here have a clue as to what the name of said documentary would be or point me in the right direction. I believe it was rather long..about three hours. I've searched the web to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hallo, Mike. If what you saw was a dramatised documentary it was most likely Titanic: Birth of a Legend, made in 2005. That featured actors playing the roles of many of the people associated with the building of the ship, with emphasis on two of the apprentices. But the running time is not much more than one hour. Here's the entry on imdb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0499084/
