Museum in Whitefish Point

Just wondering if anyone has been to the Edmund Fitzgerald Museum in Whitefish Point. I went there when I was 10 years old on a family vacation. This was before I got Interested in Titanic and I really enjoyed it. I hope to go there again sometime soon.

I was there about 8 years ago. It's very nice and the Fitzgerald's bell is interesting as are the restored keepers quarters. I'd like to go again soon.

Matthew,
I was up there last summer and enjoyed the visit. For about $10 you can tour the museum exhibits and see the high pressure suit used to dive on the Edmund Fitzgerald and its bell. They had artifacts from other Great Lakes wrecks there as well (obviously the bell is their center piece and Gordon Lightfoot plays mind numbingly over and over).

The exhibit I enjoyed the most (and is free!) was the wooden rudder from the M.M. Drake which wrecked in 1901. Being from NE Indiana, it made the biggest impression on me as it dwarfed my wife and daughter.
