MV GEORGIC presentation box

Hi, I am from Belfast and have a EPNS presentation box which is engraved on the lid with M.V. GEORGIC and has a nice enamel badge set into the lid. The box measures approx 80mm X 100mm X 55mm and is lined on the inside with thin ply wood. Can anyone here help me with any info on where, originally, this might have come from? Could it have come off the ship? or, presented to somebody in Harland and Wolff at the time the ship was built? (I live just a stones throw from the shipyard!)

Also, can anyone shed any light on what the enamel emblem is and its origins?

And any ideas on value? The box and enamel is in good overall condition, but it may have been dropped on its lid as the overhang of the lid has been slightly bent over the main body of the box, resulting in two of the corners on the top lid having slight "bumps" which you may be able to see in the photo. Thanks in advance!!
