So I have spent countless hours researching the cabin allocations for Titanic's first class passengers. I have read all the debates on this forum. The cabin allocation list on this website is very much outdated with no updates made in over a decade. I would like to post my word document on the best known locations of the first class passengers. I was not able to upload the file so I just copied and pasted. Please feel free to comment or update me on any possible mistakes. As I said, I have read all the debates on this forum, and I find this to be the most accurate list yet to be published. The list also includes several people that many are not aware of.

The website states 324 passengers were booked in first class. This list includes 285 passengers with a cabin number attached plus an addition of eleven unknowns with a fairly decent guess for a total of 296. There are also a few others, mostly business men speculated to be on E Deck that I have yet to add to my document. That number is around eight or nine. So all together I am missing about twenty passengers cabins. I will soon post the list of people I am virtually clueless on.

Stated below is the name, how much was paid, cabin number, and age.

Please comment!

I just realized I have an error, and since I can no longer edit I would like to point out that Mr. Thomson Beattie should read A8 and not A6.

Also I have read speculation that either the Meyers and Thornes may have been located around C79/C81. The Thornes would make a stronger case as they were acquainted with The Harris and Futrelle couples who were all berthed nearby.

Snowbelt in Canada. Hi, my name is Carole and I am from Perth, Ontario. I recently (1 day ago) joined the Titanic forum.Being a spiritual person myself, I understand where you are coming from. Yesterday, I googled "List of Titanic Survivors" and to my surprise the name of my past relative was on it and by clicking on it was able to get a lot of information. Where she located after landing in New York, etc....
As I was checking her name against your list, I located her on "B" deck, Amidships, #12, MARY ANNE PERREAULT, maid to Mrs Clara Jennings Hays. My maiden name is Perreault, so naturally, I'm interested in learning anything other than what I printed out from that particular website.

I don't have much of an idea about this side of things but congratulations on your dedication to compiling that list, Edinlake! Well done!

Cheers,
Adam.

What is the source for placing the Astors in C-17 and C-21?

According to this website, the Astors paid £247 10s 6d for whatever cabin they occupied. By comparison, the Straus party paid £221 15s 7d for the starboard C-deck parlor suite of C-55/57. Aren't those prices fairly close? The Astors had one more person in their party (a nurse, in addition to a maid and manservant), so it makes sense that theirs was slightly higher. Regardless, both parties paid fares that were much much higher than what most first class people paid.

Titanic First Class Passengers

Is it possible that scholars have made an educated guess that the Astors occupied C-62/64 because the price they paid for it was almost identical to what the Straus party paid for the other C-Deck parlor suite? That seems like a solid educated guess to me. If the Astors were in C-17/21 (very basic cabins, right?) as theorized here, then why did they pay close to what the Straus's did when the Straus's occupied one of the four parlor suites? I think the similarity in the ticket fares makes it very likely that the Astors occupied C-62/64 considering that C-62/64 was the same amount of space as C-55/57 (a sitting room and a bedroom).

There is no real primary source for the Astors to be in C 62/64. Only because they are rich and had the money does not mean that they would take the more luxurious & expensive suites.

The payment was higher as they had to pay the cabins of their personal as well and wanted to keep close with them especially the nurse.
That they were in C 17/21 was discovered by researcher Daniel Klistorner and I guess the information was taken from this side.
