Nationalities of Titanic's dead

Does anyone know if those lost on Titanic were reported by Nationality? Also, was Ida Straus, like her husband, an immigrant or a native Yank? Thanks. Dennis

I just viewed the Titanic exhibit in Detroit, MI. It mentioned the fact that there were 17 miners from Cornwall, England that went down with the ship. They were headed to Houghton, MI to work in the mines there. Is there a list of the names of these miners anywhere?

Joan, a search of Encylopedia Titanica turns up 44 residents of Cornwall, including the miners. They travelled in second class.

You can then work out who survived. At a quick glance, I think none did.

I come from South Australia, where many Cornish miners settled to work the copper mines. Cornish pasties are still on the menu here. Yummy!
