I do apologise. I'm always trying to be extra safe with Ebay after a few bad experiences. I do think you are 100 % honourable and am very sorry for any upset. It's a lovely picture & of course I would love to have it. I tend to go a bit overboard these days when it come's to questioning an item and need to watch what I say in public. This time I am very much in the wrong. Hope this message is not deleted. It’s very unfortunate that I have put you in this position. Very much so in public.

I have just read your email again. You come across very much as an honorable gentleman.
I can't stress enough how sorry I am for any offence I caused you. You are very correct when you say I should ask questions in private. You clearly know what you are talking about when it comes to photography. From reading over what I had written on ET although hardly an appropriate place to ask - I should/could have worded things better. I'm sure even then you would have been kind enough to answer them - as you had done already.
Actually on a more positive note I have learnt quite a bit of useful and interesting information about photography now. All of this I will store in my little baboon brain whenever I see another lovely Olympic picture. I liked your Olympic picture so much hence why all the question asking. I only have a handful of Olympic pictures as they seem very hard to find. I must say your bow view of the Mauretania photo is rather stunning. Very much so as it was taken I assume just before she left for the breakers.
There use to be a man at the BTS Convention who had a VERY wonderful collection of Olympic photos. I don’t know if he is still there, but he had so many. Maybe you have sold some pictures to him ? He only collected 4 funnelled liner photos hence he had quite a few Mauretania, Lusitania etc pictures to. No one else seemed that interested but I can never get enough new images of the Olympic - hence I ended up zooming into them all with my video camera trying to get all the little details. If he put his collection on the web it would be such a great site to visit !
Anyway once again apologies to you. I seem to always be doing that on ET ! There are only so many times you can though ! Then I suppose I will be for the chop but hopfully not
