I recently revisited my birthplace, Philadelphia, and was told by my mother, that we lived next door to "a house where the people went down with the Titanic." The house she was referring to was located on York Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The house is quite notable in the neighborhood, and it looks like it is in some sort of litigation or the heirs are keeping it in the original condition, since the house is a brownstone that is not in "character" with the rest of the neighborhood. It is located, I believe, at the corner of York and Memphis Streets in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Only out of curiosity, I would like to find out more information about the house and about its inhabitants, former and current. Thank you.
