"YANKEE" Magazine also published "The Old Farmer's Almanic"-years ago in 1970's issue-can't remember date 1975? 1976?-there was a story about how in a US River (Delaware?) about 1915/1916 a note in bottle was found--in which in effect said..ship was sinkng and that people were praying and there was a priest nearby...the article concluded that this note was from the "Lusitiana"--yet in regard to the fact of the "Lusitiana" sinking in
a very short time & absolute Kaos besides--I wonder that if fact this note was from the
TITANIC. S00rry I dont have the spefic reference
to give nor direct quotation (Also given for reference only-probably copyrigthed)
1) Could a note in bottle from Titanic floated for years to end up on the US EAst Coast river inlet?

Phil, are you sure that you are not referring to the Lusitania life jacket that washed up in Delaware in 1920? I have heard of a note from the Lusitania but it washed up on the Irish coast.
