The most accurate photo mosaic of Titanic was of the bow section, as seen in Dr Ballard's book-
I think the only detail missed was the lifeboat davit adjacent to the gymnasium...
RMS Titanic Inc compiled their own mosaic of the bow and stern sections and sold the images on a poster in the Titanic Exhibit giftshops..
..But the RMS Titanic inc mosaics were woefully inacurate..Roy Mengot related those who assembled the images under Paul Mathias didnt really know what they were looking at, so the end result is questionable as a tool for reference.....
I think the Ballard Titanic moscic was drawn from video frames from footage taken by the Argo , wheras the RMS Titanic Inc mosaic was drawn from still photos of the wreck.
Once Arnie Geller took over RMS Titanic inc, any researchers associated with George Tulloch were expunged form RMS Titanic's periphery..and Paul Mathias's Titanic mosaic poster was thus dropped from the exhibit shops..
When I worked the exhibits they sold well..
But for some reason I never got around to buying a Mathias Titanic mosaic poster...
Anyone have an extra to sell?I have been looking for one since 2000....
Peace
