Hello,

#1 After the great Titanic tragedy who of the surviving PASSENGERS went on another Ship??
Any of them that went on WHILE THEY WERE STILL YOUNG PEOPLE??

#2 What's, to date(date not day, I did NOT misspell), the LARGEST Ship ever built "by the hand of man"??

THANK YOU ahead of time for your replies to me!

And have a nice afternoon!

Bye!

Sincerely Kristy!

Quite a few passengers and crew soon went to sea again, Milvina Dean for one. It was the only was to get back home. Read some of the stories on ET and you'll find more.

The largest ship ever built is Jahre Viking. She is 564,763 Tonnes Deadweight. That is, she can carry that weight in cargo, fuel and stores. I don't have her dimensions handy, but she is about 1,510 feet long and 235 feet wide. Given a BIG crane and a cradle, you could put Titanic on her deck for a dinghy. There's a fine picture on her on the net but I don't have the URL. A search will soon find her.

I found the real dimensions. She is 1504 feet long, 226 feet wide and draws 80 feet 9 inches. Tends to limit her to certain ports.
