That's a *lot* of potential targets to connect with in the dark. It's not beyond the realm of possibility that in trying to sort things out, that it would be easy to overlook one just long enough to make for a really bad night.

That's reasonable. When that's the one instrument by which everything is checked and compared, one strives to take the greatest of care with it in order to avoid messing it up.

What is the purpose of all this useless speculation? We all KNOW damn well why the Titanic hit the iceberg: THE LOOKOUTS AND MURDOCK WERE ALL SIMULTANEOUSLY WATCHING JACK AND ROSE!!!
