Queen Victoria's 'Grand lobby' staircase is clearly influenced by the Olympic class ships

Take a peek on the Cunard website & check the artists renditions for public rooms on the Queen Victoria- The 'Grand lobby' looks a great deal like Olympic & Titanic's grand staircase-the staircase, and the light fixture above...
The Grand Lobby also reminds me a bit of the dining room on the France (1912)
What do you all think?

Tarn, I remember posting something along the same lines a while back when the promo came out from Cunard. It's great to see them harking back to the styles of yesteryear albeit with a contemporary twist. Who would have thought 10-20 years ago that liners would have made a comeback. I thought my generation had missed out on that form of transport. Great to see Cunard keeping the flag flying. I'm already saving up to celebrate my 40th on Queen Mary 2 in 2011

A striking grand staircase was a true centerpiece on many past ocean liners- like Olympic/Titanic, France (1912), Normandie, etc...

I really hope the grand staircase has made a comeback-
