Rare Olympic Film

A while ago it was mentioned that Ken Marschall was able to view the White Star Line Olympic promotion film while on Queen Elz.2.....Has anyone heard anything more as to its being realised for public purchase?

I'm just about to order a DVD of the 1943 German Titanic film with bonus features, including an Olympic promotion film, which probably is "Olympic Close Up" that you are referring to. I can't be certain until I view it, or until someone who has purchased the DVD from Kino On Video in New York posts a message on this forum and describes the Olympic footage. The ad for the DVD said two other bonus features include a 1912 newsreel and the trailer for the German Titanic film.

The Olympic film is pretty good. It is a rare glimpse of actual passengers during a crossing on the grand old ship.
