Hey all, something il be doing in between the Empress and Re done Lusitania animations is i want to try my hand at making a Real-Time sinking of the Titanic in UE4 (or at the least the last 25 min). The interiors ect are a model i found that is sadly unfinished and is nowhere near a H&G standard, but its fairly accurate in a broad sense and i think it would be fun to see rooms flood ect. If anyone has angles of what this was doing in the last 20 it would be much appreciated. This is data i have from a older animation.

Cool! :)

Also the night-time photos (particularly the Wheelhouse and Promenade) looks very reminiscent of Adventure Out Of Time.

This is at 23 degrees, in my opinion the darkness masks the angle and makes it more extreme

Did this a week ago and is a early test, threw the camera work really quickly and did not even review it so it moves too fast during the final plunge, also the Break-up was really rushed.
Did manage to recreate the updated H&G angles by accident though

Working on lifeboats with the help of the excellent info Titanic Animations shared, basing how its being loaded off of the 20th anniversary test with JC, interesting that the test with modern people takes longer than what the crew did

It is a pain but on the bright side (if you haven't seen / use it already) Paul Lee might be able to help: http://www.paullee.com/titanic/sinking.php
Thanks for that great info! But the pain is more of programming. Since the the boats are part of the ship in terms of what they are grouped too, evrey key frame/movement of the ship effects the boats. And as such i have to program the boats like 15 times over their lifetime to make sure they dont randomly go underwater or start capsizing:rolleyes:

Oh and the reason why i chose the num 1 funnel to fall to port is due to the sketchy evidence of it falling to starboard (and the logic of it) and due to the fact that Gracie was probably underwater at the time

Lifeboats are done, the stern and funnels. Im now programing splashes, smoke, steam ect. I was just wondering something, so we know when the steam started to vent then stop venting. But what time frame do you guys guess did funnel 1 & 2 stop sending smoke? and also when would it start to slow down venting smoke? i can program when the smoke start to die then die completely on the three funnels. Just give me a time frame then il do it
