Hello everyone. In the trivia section for "Sahara", the latest Dirk Pitt flick on the Internet Movie Database, it says that the ship used to portray the NUMA Research Vessel "Martha Ann" is one of those used by Robert Ballard to find the Titanic, and that it was scrapped after the movie was completed. If this is true, what was that ship?
Thanks a lot in advance.

I think Ballard was on the research vessel 'Knorr' when he found Titanic, but I could be waaaay wrong. I did look around and couldn't find anything about The Knorr being scrapped, so I doubt that's the one. I dunno. I'll look around though to see if I Can find something else.

Come to think of it, I seem to remember a ship named Atlantis II somewhere in there. Maybe that's the ship?

I'll keep looking around. Movie trivia always intrigues me, especially if it involves a Titanic-related ship.

Thanks! I initially thought about the Knorr, but it still operating. Could be Atlantis II though. This one has indeed been retired.
