It seems even as of 1915, the barriers between the classes were coming down. There are a few accounts of some Lusitania passengers coming and going as they pleased. One in particular is Cowper from 2nd class who went to interview Hubbard. Any more examples?

I would have to agree but by the end of the 1920's the end of mass immigration and occured and so now there were tourist classes but no barrier and no doctors to inspect you upon entry. The Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth of the mid thirties are good examples.
