WOW! A single man submarine developed by Richard Branson will, later this year be piloted by Chris Welsh to the bottom of the Mariana Trench, the trench, the deepest part of planet Earth was visted previouslly only once by his father and Piccard aboard the Trieste.

Sorry for some confusion on my part...I don't believe Don Walsh, who visited the Mariana Trench with Piccard, is of any relation to Chris Welsh. Note the spelling of the last name is different.

And, would'nt it be a thrill to ride solo to the Titanic wreck site aboard Branson's sub. The sphere viewport, either plexiglass or syntactic foam is much larger than the other deep sea submersibles which previouslly visted Titanic.
