I am happy to announce the opening of my new and expanded web site at www.Titanicology.com. It contains some of my original Titanic research and analytical work, as well as an independent forensic analysis of the famous 1956 collision between Andrea Doria and Stockholm that I did in late 2008. In addition, I have included several pages devoted to the evolution of the America's Cup racing yacht, and a little about myself and my interests, including my interest in flying single-engine land aircraft and gliders.
For all you Titaniacs, please click on the link to the page called My Titanic Chart Room which currently contains links to 12 short unpublished works of mine dealing with Titanic and/or her sister ship Olympic. There is also a link to a page called My On-Line Titanic Related Publications where you can get direct access to 14 published on-line articles that I have authored or co-authored, some of which were also published in journals such as TIS's Voyage, BTS's The Atlantic Daily Bulletin, and ITHS's White Star Journal. Also, there is a page called My Other Titanic Related Publications which lists and describes, along with short excerpts, six articles that I had published in THS's The Titanic Commutator. Best of all, you can now access my four PowerPoint presentations that I gave at the 2006 Titanic Technical Symposium in Toledo, OH at My Titanic Related Presentations page. They are titled: "A Californian Voyage," "Sideswipe or Grounding," "Speed and Revolutions," and "Turning in Circles."
For those interested in the work I did concerning the collision between Andrea Doria and Stockholm, you can go to the page called Lights to Port - Lights to Starboard where you can gain access to the presentation I gave at the request of Capt. Les Eadie to a class on casualty analysis at the Maine Maritime Academy in November 2008, or read the full article I wrote on the subject which can be downloaded in PDF format.
Best regards,
