Hello all,

I would like to introduce myself as I'm new here, this is a great web site and I'm glad
I've found it as I want to learn more about
the Titanic's technical specifications.

Eventually when I know enough details about the
Titanic I plan on building my own model,
firstly using Lightwave or 3DMax to get a feel
of the ship first.

I have found/downloaded some plans on line, but unfortunately the drawings of the rigging plans look as though they do not join correctly in the middle and there seems to be some details missing there also, can anyone confirm this ? I suspect the scans of the two halves were joined incorrectly.

Regards,
Sam

Hi,

Thanks for your reply, sorry I was not being very specific. Perhaps I should ask in another thread but I will try here first.

I refer to the general arrangement plan from

http://www.abratis.de/sources/pictures/pic/blue/genarr.gif

If you examine the plan between the 2nd and 3rd funnels you can notice that the join appears to be off centre just aft of the compass on the boat deck all the way down to the keel. Has anybody else noticed this ?
