Time before 'terrorist attacks' what were the security measures that passengers had to deal with in... 'boarding the Titanic' and 'security during the voyage on board Titanic'?

# Luggage check before boarding?

# Bad behavior discipline on board?

# Any thing you wish to add, please do,Thanking you.

Terrorist attacks were relatively common in 1912.

Somewhere in the archive are a number of postings I did on the subject.

The earliest reference to 'screening' I can find came after a bomb threat regarding the Lusitania's Christmas mail voyage in December 1914.

In that case, baggage was screened and, for the first time, passengers were compelled to show ID.

Thanks Jim for you're response,
however, poir to 1914, there was no such thing as screening baggage nor ID checks? even though, 1912 had terrorist attacks!

Jim,
Why start security action 1914,when there were terrorist attacks two years earlier?
