Hello everyone,
I read in John-Maxtone Graham"s Titanic Tragedy that the Samson and Goliath cranes are "available for removal and reerection". Does anyone know if this is true?
The statement about the cranes is on pg 69 , at the end if chapter 3 for those of you who have the book.
Thanks! ~Anna

The last I saw, the cranes are heritage listed, so they are not likely to be sold. I stand to be corrected if somebody has current authentic information.

The H & W site shows no hint of the cranes being removed. They are in full swing as the company reinvents itself as a supplier of many services. The site shows one of the cranes lifting a massive new construction onto a ship. With a SWL of 840 tons the cranes are valuable assets.
