In two - Robert Redford in "All The President's Men" with Jason Robards, Robarts in "Raise the Titanic" in the part of Sandecker; in three, Redford in "The Chase" with Marlon Brando, Brando with George C. Scott in "The Formula", Scott in '96 TV version of "Titanic" as Captain Smith.

Also, we can do Mills in one less degree = Hayley Mills in "Pollyana" with Karl Marlden (as the preacher), Malden with George C. Scott in "Patton", Scott, again in TV "Titanic".

Here's one to work on: Gary Cooper in two.

Best regards,
Cook

Kenneth Brannaugh was in DEAD AGAIN ( a great flick) with Emma Thompson who was in SENSE AND SENSIBILITY with our Titanic Rose- (cue fireworks)- KATE WINSLET!- Y'all are TOO GOOD.
Gary Cooper was in Saratoga Trunk with Ingrid Bergman who was in Murder on the Orient Express (for which she got an Oscar) with the handsomest man in the world, SEAN CONNERY who was in Goldfinger with- ta-da- HONOR BLACKMAN from ANTR!

Thanks, Shelley. I got my B&W movies mixed up. It was "A HARD DAY'S NIGHT" that Boulting was connected with.
Pat, I had forgotten about "All the President's Men". I was taking a longer route! Robert Redford to Karen Thomas to Juliette Binoche to Johnny Depp to DiCaprio. Just goes to show that everybody in Hollywood has worked with everybody!
Shelley, this is a great game. We should copyright it.

Actually, I was thinking of Gary Cooper starring with Barbara Stanwyck in "Meet John Doe", Stanwyck, of course in the '53 Titanic with Clifton Webb. That's a little shorter route, anyway.

And me a Trekkie-unforgivable! Here's today's doozie- Marilyn Monroe. Doozie, by the way, I learned was a reference to the Dusenburg automobile- "It's a Dusie!" ad promotion. The things I learn from the History Channel.
The Monarch of Minutae
Empress of Verbosity
Queen of Crepe de Chine (speaking of -NOBODY has gone to visit the fashion thread- 1912 fashion- and me committing MORTAL sin and not going to Mass yesterday because I stayed up nearly all night building photo pages...ah, the sacrifices made for the Boat People...limp, sniff..And POOR Mrs. Pope- only one visitor...smell odor of roasting martyr? How I suffer for my art.)

Wow, Shel! Good one!

Marilyn Monroe in "All About Eve", which co-starred Thelma Ritter, who was in the '53 "Titanic".

Here's one - Vincent Price.

Good luck,

Capt. Cook- this one will keep you going for the day- BORIS KARLOFF. (had actually hopped for Bela Lugosi but that may be stretching it thin).

You really must be staying up nights! I COULD cheat here and say "Tower of London", in which Karloff starred with Vincent Price and take that route. However, with the popularity of Cameron's movie, the old movie channels have been running "The Old Dark House" again, in which Boris had a feature role along with Gloria Stewart (Old Rose).

Here's an easy one - Richard Harris.

Since Shelly mentioned this on another thread I thought I'd better answer this last one.

Richard Harris in "Camelot", co-starring Laurence Naismith as Merlin. Naismith as we all know was Captain Smith in "A Night To Remember".

Here's one which has a bit of a twist. Albert Finney, in one step, to 3 (count'em 3) 'Titanic actors' in one movie.

Good luck.

Best regards,
Cook

Albert Finney played Daddy Warbucks in the original Annie film. Victor Garber assumed that role for the Disney version, which also had Kathy Bates. Actor number 3? I yield the floor to the next torch-carrier.

Well, I won't keep you in suspense any longer. This one may have been an obscure movie except every Christmas they show it at least 3 times - much to my glee as I think it's very good.

"Scrooge", the musical adaptation by Leslie Bricusse, stars Albert Finney in the title role and a sort of who's who of Titanic movies. Alec Guiness, who was in "Raise the Titanic", plays Jacob Marley, and from "A Night To Remember", Kenneth More plays the Ghost of Christmas Present AND Laurence Naismith plays Old Fezziwig. AND, as if this weren't enough, (sorry I don't know his name), the actor who played Evans, the Californian Wireless man in "A Night To Remember", plays a toymaker in "Scrooge". So, actually, there were FOUR Titanic actors in this one.

Thought you all might get a kick out of this one.

That one takes the cake. Today's bit of trivia-there is a British soft-core porn queen named Titanic Toni (we need not stretch our imagination to guess what portion of anatomy to which this refers!)-she has made 6 forgettable films all with the title containing "Babe"- sigh... what next? On the Brainbuster front (no pun intended), can you Get Back to Titanic in 2 degrees with Patty Duke? * Hint- Celeste Holm, Burl Ives and Ray Bolger have something to do with it!

Well alrighty then! I was thinking of a terrific mini-series called Captains and Kings (the grandaddy of all miniseries) starring Richard Jordan as the Irish immigrant hero. Patty Duke played the miserable long-suffering female lead. It was a great flick with the whole immigration issue, some ship footage, and Richard Jordan who later went on to play DIRK PITT-my hero- in Raise the Tianic. He died far too young- Jordan that is.
