Are any members aware of any internet resources available regarding the Soviet nuclear submarine Kursk?I saw a documentary recently and would love to find out more about this ship.

Steven, try any search engine like Google and use Kursk submarine as keywords and you'll find loads of coverage. Most of this, of course, will be about the disaster and its aftermath rather than the vessel itself. This link is an interesting one if you'd like to read about it from the Russian viewpoint:

Just for the record, the Kursk was a Project 949A SSGN, in that he main armament cosisted of guided missiles. You can go to This Website for more general information on this class of ship.
