Watch the beginning of this video, at 00:56 it shows them building a copy of stateroom B-38, but this was never used in the movie. Can someone give me their thoughts or an explanation?

I know this video...

The brown panelled room with gilt fittings was inspired by the C-57 occupied by Isador Strauss and his wife and in the movie it was the parlor of B-52, 54 and 56, occupied by Rose.

The room inspired by B-38 was B-54 in the movie - the Cal's bedroom. But it is no copy, it is just inspired. As most of the movie ship's interiors have been modified for the purposes of the movie...

Even the Grand staircase which looks fantastic in the movie was larger than the real one and if you compare the panelling with original photos you will find out it does not match.

But you must also understand that I am a perfectionist and notice lots of mistakes anywhere ;)

Either the scene it was intended for was canceled or if it was shot, it ended up on the cutting room floor. Either way, your guess is as good as mine.
