I came across a site that claimed that the Titanic's First class lounge on A deck contained several steward call buttons located on the carved posts located near the center of the lounge? Is this claim true and accurate?

Good day to you Mr. Nelson,

The first class lounge in Louis XV style indeed had steward calling buttons located, they were located on the pillars.

I hope this helps you.

Did any of the passenger rooms have steward call buttons ?
I remember something similar in the "Downton Abbey" TV series ?

If this is correct, then it seems first-class staterooms had a call button positioned above the bed to call for a steward.

I wonder if other liners of the time had luxuries like call buttons for their first-class passengers or if the Olympic class were the first to offer a waiting on passengers service.

I don't know, but they had to be relatively new, Olympic was plagued with electrical problems on her first voyage, such as the Steward Call Buttons. Also the Heaters, as well
