Hello,

I am offering for sale a very unusual sort of game board made from Titanic wreckwood that was recovered by the Minia.

This is the oral history I was told when I acquired the piece.

It measures 9 1/4 inches long by 3 inches wide and has numerous holes drilled in it that are numbered but nowhere near enough for a cribbage board.

There are 23 holes in total.

The top of this (I am assuming gameboard of some kind) has been cut to resemble the bow of a ship.

This came out the Canadian Maritimes and the oral history stated it was made from a section of Titanic wreckwood found by the Minia.

It is made out of some very hard wood, quite possibly oak.

Serious inquiries only can reach me at [email protected]

Thank you, Steve Santini

Steve, yes the game board is an integral piece of TITANIC history, bearing stunning provenance.
Perhaps constructed with teak remnants of the wreck? Question...how did you aquire the artefact from the Canadian Maritime? I was always aware that museum holdings were of a permanent loan.
