Straus Sitting Room C55

Hello,

Lajos, I don't think that it's the ventilator in the wreck, on the fireplace. I think it's a clock. When you see photos of C55 in Olympic, it seems there is one, and it looks like the object on the fireplace, in the wreck.

Hello, Nicholas---

If you click on Lajos' name, you'll see that he hasn't checked in here since December. It may be a while---if at all---before he sees or responds to your message.

Ok, now I'm confused, I know in the movie Rose's parlor suite was based off of the Strauss's suite, the pictures of the Strauss suite show by the fireplace that it is a C Deck suite but I thought the Strauss's were on D Deck! Can anyone help me please?!

[Moderator's note: This post, originally posted as a separate thread, has been moved to the pre-existing one discussing the same parlor suite. JDT]

[Second moderator's note: An exact duplicate of this message, originally posted as the beginning of a separate thread, has been deleted. The two messages immediately below this one (one of which has now been removed for reasons unknown to me) were originally posted in the same thread as the now-deleted message, but have been moved. Please Monitors leave this post where it is now, I want people to see it and post is they want to, if it's on that other post about the their parlor suite no one will probably see it because the people who wrote on that post before haven't been on for a long time. Thank you.

Fine Monitors, you might have lost a member on your message board! >

Hello, Joe---

There's no reason why people who might be interested in this question would "see it" any easier if it were by itself rather than being in this thread discussing the same suite. It shows up exactly the same regardless of which of several ways members check on what's new.

I'm sorry you and Mark are right, it just annoyed me that I couldn't find it. and by the way I'm just wondering how people become Monitors on message boards anyway? I always wondered....

If you can't find a thread, use the "Last Day" feature found at the bottom of each page, or e-mail myself or another Moderator for assistance.

I'm just wondering how people become Monitors on message boards anyway?

Again, Moderator's. In this forum's case, possessing an excellent knowledge of the subject at hand and being able to be active and available, on the site everyday.

And I "asked" you to leave it where it was.

Since you've apologized for your earlier comments, I don't understand the meaning of this sentence. Please explain.

Well Jason I said "please leave the where it is now" you said, I quote, "the last time I checked, we are in charge of managing the board, not you." un quote, I asked you to leave the post where it was, I didn't mean to tell you to leave it.
