Once the ship's muster was out of the way on 10th April 1912, lifeboat drill completed and his master's report signed, what other duties would Captain Smith have undertaken prior to sailing? Both the accounts by Roy Diaper and Norman Wilkinson indicate that Smith was very busy that morning, but make no indication as to what he was doing.
