George Behe's latest, a collection of first-hand accounts by the crew and passengers of Carpathia, has just been published and is available through lulu.com either as a paperbound book or as a pdf file. For details look here.
I received the author's latest book yesterday and stayed up late to finish it. Behe's latest book is an amazing collection of letters, interviews with the passengers and crew of the rescue ship, Carpathia. As an added bonus, the author added accounts from people on other ships involved in the disaster. A touching letter from a woman aboard the Oceanic describes finding collapsible A, a month after the sinking. As the 100th anniversary draws near, this book is a must read.
Agreed, Mike. This (like George's "On Board RMS Titanic") is a remarkable compilation of first-hand accounts presented without embellishment, commentary or analysis, providing the reader just with the words of those who were there. A terrific accomplishment.
