. I read the book Ship Ablaze: The Tragedy of the Steamboat General Slocum by Edward O'Donnell after watching a feature about it on the History Channel. I always wanted to read more about it. Thanks Philip for the heads up.

Hi. I'm doing a report on the Slocum. I read Ship Ablaze, but I'd like
more information. Specifically, I'm looking for about 3 things:
1) Downloadable files for the songs played by the band (or at least in
the band program)--the list is at

2) The specific fine the Knickerbocker Steamboat Company had to pay
3) Other sources Ed O'Donnell used to write Ship Ablaze
