Yep, that's the one I saw as well. It's rated as the third most scariest movie, on the top 10 scariest movie list.

Not bad for a 39 year old Movie. I thought it was the original you were talking about.

Usually once you have seen the movie it stays with you. It was on the late, late show in '77 and my Mom made sure my sisters were in bed so they couldn't watch it but she had heard stuff about it from others and decided to watch it herself. She was up all night reading afterwards. Couldn't go to sleep. I asked her why didn't she stop watching it. I knew why she didn't stop watching it. Because you can't. Well she said it was like a train wreck. You just couldn't look away. She had my brother and me in bed with her for a week afterwards. Dad didn't say anything about it. Because he had seen the movie after getting out of 'Nam and had the craziest dreams about it. He was having crazy dreams anyways. If he had been home my Mom probably wouldn't of watched that movie. He was on the road trucking. My dad still refuses to watch it. I watched it the day before yesterday and he wouldn't watch it. He left actually. Didn't even want to listen to it. Back to topic.

-Did you ever get the ghost shots Jason was talking about at the QM pool to load.

Sorry I didn't back to you earlier on this, George, but, no, I could never get in to view it.

Btw, I see you went creeping around during Halloween, hehehe! Not into Halloween myself, but a great eerie make up job. I bet you scared plenty of little kiddies on your groaning rampage, hehe.

Queen Mary: The World's Most Haunted Cruise Ship?
quote:

Is the Queen Mary, launched in 1934 and now permanently docked in Long Beach, California, as a floating hotel and historic attraction, the world's most haunted cruise ship? Maybe!

In honor of Halloween, we're taking a break from Oasis of the Seas and Disney Dream fever to take a look at the former Cunard liner -- which has been the site of so much paranormal activity that the facility now offers a daily ghost tour and a special effects show called Ghosts & Legends.

Comment: No, I don't believe in ghosts, but it still makes a helluva good story!

Amazing how all these ghosts found other places to loiter while the Queen Mary was at sea and even in Long Beach until the operation of the ship was taken over by a certain theme park operator. After that time the ghosts have been coming out of the woodwork much like a "mouse". Since that time, every operator since has blown the "haunted" marketing angle out of control to the point that it holds the lower 5 decks hostage year round to any other use. Restoration is certainly out of the question when you can exploit their deteriorated state in this way and the public will tolerate it.

Behold the dignity and preservation bestowed upon the first Cunard Queen by using her as a carnival:
