The Rich Lady's Maid by Phillip Gowan

Hey Phil!

What a wonderful article! I knew what a spiffy guy you were, but had no idea of your exceptional writing talents. Wish I could have you write some articles for the MCHS newsletter! Perhaps something on Titanic survivors who made it to Morris County, NJ?

Best,
Bonnie

Good stuff, as ever, Phil. Would like to see even more from you - hving built up the bulk of data you've put together, it's a pleasure to see it woven into this form.

Dear Phil,

Wonderful article!!! I am in the process of rereading it for the 2nd time (Yes, I know that means I'm reading it the 3rd time!) Man, you REALLY worked on this one and it shows!

And such a quiet guy, too!

Warmest regards, O M

Bonnie, Inger and Cook,
Nice words appreciated more than you guys know! Some people, like Molony, are writers, and can belt it out quickly sounding like the pros they are. Others, like Gowan, slave away on small articles for many weeks and then agonize over the final product's wording--never being satisfied with the final product. Many thanks!

Mr. Gowan, you are a maestro!

I just re-read "The Rich Lady's Maid", and I daresay it fairly knocked the wind out of me. You are possessed of a rare talent which conveys not only the facts, but also the feelings of your subject.

A very, very impressive work!

Sincerely,
John M. Feeney

Dear Phil,

I enjoyed reading your article and it is wonderfully written. You have put a lot of research into it and it shows!

Well done Phil!

Best regards,
