This appears to be a new book (2019). I'm reading it now; it follows six passengers from boarding to the sinking and either death or survival. It does go off on several tangents describing political and social events of the day (suffrage, Irish Home Rule, the decline of the aristocracy even before World War I), and it can get tedious in places. But of all books I've read, it's the first to give much space to Dorothy Gibson, an early silent film actress. So far I recommend!
