The Titanic Channel

So how would we got about cancelling our subscription to the Titanic Channel if the homepage doesn't give us said option, not to be rude but I don't really want to continue being billed $5 a month for a service that I don't have access to.

Even though you can view some episodes on amazon prime, you can't see all the episodes. Only the episodes from season 1 are available for viewing, basically all episodes uploaded within the past year are unavailable. The interviews with the Titanic Honor & Glory crew for example are not available for viewing, among many others.

My only hope is that they just stop billing

While i did record some episodes that are not available to the public, im still not sure if i can share the entire thing. But here is a quick clip so its not lost forever

Still would love to know why they stopped as when i gave ideas for episodes earlier this year they where all for it, then everything just stopped for no reason

I'm in a similar situation to Tim Aldrich having paid for a years subscription. Although the monetary value is not excessive I think a partial reimbursement at a minimum would be the right thing to do given the sudden closure of the service.

This is a shame as I thought their content was great.

Well i was pleased today to find out that my order (which was placed just a day or two before it was shut down) did indeed come after all in speedy time! Even threw in a extra pen, really makes me wish i bought more if i knew they where closing. Kinda cool to think that these where the last things bought from there

Good news people! A lot of the Titanic Channel's episodes are now on YouTube so that means everyone can watch them!

However not all the episodes are present but well over 200 are. I really hope more will be loaded up soon.

Anyway here's the link.

Here's a few of the episodes which are my personal favourites!

Episode 65: Diving Britannic - Ken Marschall
S2 Ep28: Titanic's First Class Lounge - Bill Sauder
S2 Ep31: Surprises Inside Titanic The Elevator Grills - Ken Marschall
S2 Ep54: Owning the Britannic - Simon Mills
S2 Ep91: White Star's New York Office - Charles Haas
S2 Ep84: The Body in the Steamer Trunk - Mark Chirnside
S2 Ep173: The Honor and Glory Team - Tom Lynskey and Matt DeWinkeleer

I found the Titanic Channel again on my ROKU. It's streamed but it does have ads now. No big deal as all the channels have gone that way. Watched a few segments from Bill Sauder. One was about the protocols and politics of the various smoking rooms and one was by Senan Molony about how possibly the lamps in the lifeboats were doused or hidden right after the sinking to prevent people in the water from swimming to and swamping the boats. They were interesting clips. Cheers.

Forget everything Molony said about the lamps, other historians thought he was talking nonsense about that.

Only about half a dozen or so boats even had lamps. The rest went without.

You'll have to watch the clip for yourself as I thought he made a good case for what he was saying. In it he didn't say it was proven just that evidence points that way. He backed it up with testimony from the inquires and from one of the few who was pulled from the water. All from people that were there that night. Basically it was the same as the article below which I hadn't read before. Cheers.
