I agree. That crappy series actually gets my respect with the way it portrayed the break-up. I get the sense that this is probably the closest representation of the break-up so far on film (even though Collapsible B would not be anywhere near that location during the breakup). It's also the only portrayal of the sinking that I think accurately captures how dark it really was. It's at 3 minutes in:Well, it's Julian Fellowes. Turning Titanic into Downton Abbey-on-Sea wouldn't be remiss of him. That being said the sinking scene was pretty good, even if it was mirrored.
