So far, so good, with fitting attention to details. This is definitely a "rivet-counter" book, kind of dry to the casual reader, but anyone interested in ships or machinery will be home here, and anyone who takes the time to read it will find it moves along well.
There have been many books and articles dealing with the human element, this one deals with the centerpiece of the tragedy, and what was involved there, and afterward.
Just my two cents.
