I think it is the same one they have clips of on youtube. I don't know for sure because it lists it as an unknown documentary. Hope this helps. Sorry if it doesn't.

I think its from the 1970s, just before Edith Russel died.

Judging from the interviewers hair style, my guess would be late 70's - early 80's. Possibly even later than that. This is definitely not from the 50's or 60's.

I don't think it's as late as the 1980's. The last year of Pathe News was 1970, so it could be the late 1960's.

A fascinating clip. What Arthur Lewis said sticks in my mind that no one talked to each other in the lifeboat. He said "well we didn't know each other", or similar.

A symptom of the era, no doubt; very class conscious.

I can't say that I would be much in the mood for conversation if I had just lost my husband, wife, brother, or everything I owned. But I guess I would never know unless I was there..... like I said, it said date unknown...wish I had better access to more documentaries.
