For some time now I have been looking for a nice painting (that is a print of one) the I could have framed. Here's a very nice print that I just received from Kevin McLoughlin:

Leaving Queenstown by Kevin McLoughlin

The full-sized print is beautiful. I particularly like the lighting on the hull and the spray at the bow.

Kevin's homepage is here:

(I'm not associated with Kevin--just a fan of his work.)

Here are some links to other sources of Titanic art:

This one won't let you back out easily once you enter, so you may not want to try it:

Cal,

Have you ever saw the Marek Sarber print entitled "And The Band Played On..."? It is truly stunning. It shows a ghostly Grand Staircase; half decayed and half brand-new, mounted by many of the tragedy's players who lost their lives. Off to the right is Capt. Smith, still standing on the ruin of what was once his place of command...the bridge. It all reminds you of the final scene of "Titanic". I suppose he drew inspiration from that scene. If you like Titanic prints, then you must see this one on the THS website (www.titanic1.org). Click on Fine Art Prints, and then And The Band Played On.

Cal,

I know what you mean about the price! I would love to have that print hanging in my bedroom, but at the age of 15, I don't even have a job! Oh well, perhaps someday...

Hello Lisa and Welcome to the board! It is a very good painting, and almost like Capt. Smith is looking at you from a darkened passageway or something, like he has come back from the past to tell us something!! EEEEKKKK!!! Hairs on my neck are standing on end!!!
