Does anybody know what the Times Book Club (UK) was or is and whether it is still in existence?

To make the question Titanic-related, I have a Titanic book that apparently belonged to their library at one time, as it carries their stamp.

If you know, please let me know - I would be most curious to know.

The Times Book Club was first opened in London in 1905 as a service for subscribers to the newspaper of that name. Books could be borrowed or bought at a discount. Later there were several branches (including one in Plymouth, where nautical books would have been popular), and the service was extended to all members of the public. The London operation was sold off to Harrods in the 1960s, and the other branches probably absorbed into local bookstores.
