Titanic Door Hardware

Hi,

Does anyone know who the Titanic builders bought their door hardware (door, door frame, hinge, and knobs / levers) from? I'm specifically interested in the doors that the first through third classes would have interacted with regularly (dining areas, rooms, bathrooms, etc.). Was it Bricard or someone else? Please share sources and knowledge!!

Hardware mostly came from George Field & Co, who supplied Olympic and many other ships. See many illustrations in Titanic: The Ship Magnificent. Volume 2.

Titanic: The Ship Magnificent. Volume 2, p. 70, shows an advertisement by N. Burt & Co. Ltd, 195 Wardour Street, London, W. The ad shows photos of door hardware items. N. Burt & Co. claims in the ad that they supplied door furnishings for Titanic, etc. I Googled "N. Burt & Co." - no joy.
