Titanic ghost on WAY OUT 1961

In 1961, a short-lived TV show called "WAY OUT", which I thought was better than Twilight Zone, One Step Beyond, etc., had an episode entitled "I Heard You Calling Me" starring the wonderful, underrated super-b!~~~ Conne Ford (the mother in "A Summer Place") who, according to the write-up played "an adultress who plans to elope with a married man but his long dead mother pays her an unwelcome visit". What happens is the conniving Connie is left alone in a hotel room while her meek boyfriend leaves for whatever puppose; while he's gone, a woman ghost appears (and from what I remember, a pretty scary one for the times) dressed in Victorian garb and beckons Connie to join her on an ocean voyage, First Class!! Cut to a commercial and when the guy returns, Connie is dead. He calls the cops and a doctor determines that she drowned and by salt water!! In a hotel room nowhere near salt water!! In the last parting shot, John mentions to the cops that his mother died on Titanic!! Silly, short story but lots of fun. Thought you might like to know. Regards, Dennis

Thanks for the memories Dennis- yes I do remember that indeed! WAY OUT was ahead of those great Night Gallery /Twilight Zone types, along with another show of about the same time, Outer Limits- those were the days....
