Titanic/ Olympic Switch Theory

If you don't know what the Titanic/Olympic Switch Theory is, here's a basic rundown. After the Olympic collided with the HMS Hawke in 1911, White Star Line switched Olympic with Titanic, to purposely pairs. If it doesn't make sense, I don't blame you and just click off of this. But for those who do, here's how it didn't happen.

Let's start with first the most obvious - the dates. The Olympic collided with the Hawke on her 5th voyage and went back for repairs in September 1911, before the Titanic was even painted. The Olympic was on her 6th voyage in October of the same year, 6 months before the launch of the Titanic.

If the previous didn't satisfy you, here's even more proof. The Olympic was roughly 882 feet long and 175 feet tall. Moving EVERYTHING from the Olympic, THAT big to the Titanic, a BIGGER ship would be an EXTREMELY tedious task, to say the least! It would've taken at least 6 months - and people would've seen them moving cargo and repainting Olympic to Titanic and vice versa, and one person would've been BOUND to report it.

There's even more proof I couldn't fit on this article, so this is the end. Bye!
