Titanic photo

Hi can anyone help,my husband has a what we think is an original photo of Titanic at Southampton,his grandfather was a taxi driver and he had taken passengers to the dock and it appears it was leaving,so how do we authenticate this and is it of any value ?

does anyone know if there are any photos of second class entrance of Titanic/olimpic?
For example the entrance since deck boat.

There are several photographs [all Olympic] showing both entrances; B-deck level. One taken from the after stairs shows both the B and C-deck landings. See Titanic Triumph and Tragedy by Eaton and Haas, page 120
