Titanic relief Fund Cheques

Kevin -- I have of this evening sent you a private message.

Not sure of your connection but like I explained in my message, were these cheques issued by the old Exeter Committee. Another clue maybe found on the heading of each of the cheques, most likely for the Martins Bank which is now part of Barclays Bank.

The unfortunate episode surrounding the Minute Books for Exeter fell short of a cat and mouse game where I did everything possible to locate this collection. As of last year, I soon discovered to my horror, this unique collection has done a disappearing act. Where too remains permanently unknown. The same also applies to the Manchester Office which was a latter edition that first opened in 1914, and became one of the first to close in 1956.

I eagerly await for your reply and if you need more answers whereupon your a bit mystified over the dependent family, then I will only to glad to give further assistance.

Very best wishes

Andrew W.
