Titanic Switch website - a resource for battling misinformation on the Internet

Hi Dan. Was reading thru your website and ran across something I wasn't aware of. This is kind of off topic but I did find it on your site. What I learned was that Titanic spare props (at least parts of them) were melted down and made into memorials. I found one but do you or anyone else know if there were more than the one I found? I've always been interested in the various statue's/memorials dedicated to Titanic. Thanks for the info on your site. Cheers.

Thanks for this Steve and especially the photograph. While I was aware that memorials had been made from the reserve props I had not seen this before. And it is especially interesting as an ex-postman!

What is the source of the photograph? I might reach out to them to see if I can include it.

Your Welcome. It is interesting. I found the pic just doing a general search of Titanic memorials. The picture is on various websites but I slept since then so not sure which one I grabbed it off. But looking into a minute ago the plaque is from the location below. Cheers.
P.S...If you scroll to the bottom of the page there are links to his pages of other Titanic memorials he found. Some of which I had never seen before either. He has an interesting page and he links E.T. on his site.

A very nice gesture indeed from H&W, specially when they were not responsible for the lost of the ship.
