Titanic Voyage (RPG) - 2021

I played as myself, having myself as an able-body seaman, even going so far as to say I was in Europe and working my way home to the Territory of Hawaii. (I was sort of picturing the journey of real life survivor Masabumi Hosono, from the Carpathia he got to California by train, then a ship across the Pacific to Japan, and I think the ship did stop in Hawaii to take on more coal, and I live in Hawaii in real life).

I didn't survive, though I was busy at work for most of the sinking. I just missed seeing the iceberg and later tried unsuccessfully to get into some of the aft lifeboats. When I got out of work, Collapsibles A and B were the only boats left, and I got washed overboard trying to get onto one of those.

When I signed up again to play as a Carpathia passenger, it took forever for them to send me my password. (On the Carpathia, I'm Mr. Pinky Brain, came up with that from one of my favorite childhood cartoons, Pinky and the Brain)

I enjoyed it last year, I enjoyed it again this year, and my wife doesn't believe me when I said after it's over in a few days I'll stop nerding out. She's probably right not to believe me :D

wouldn't work on my main either

Another eventful year. All my characters died and I think out of all my friends that joined only one survived. Although I kind of bent the rules a little bit and said some of my characters survived. As a first class female passenger in her 20s I really thought I had a chance but you win some you lose some.

If I ever decide to play again(Which as a veteran player I can say the new system was worse than last year's system.) I'll probably just play as one character instead of four. I think I had too many fingers in one basket or however that saying goes.

Either way I had a great time playing Alfie Cunningham and exploring the endless possibilities with him. Just sad to see him go.

I know the last post was a long time ago, but I'm new here so I should just post anyways.

I played LCdr(RNR) The Duke of Brightwater, Andrew Florent. This was my first year participating in the RP, but I had a ton of fun. I loved meeting all the interesting characters and true historical figures. I was one of 3 out of my little, impromptu group of 6 on the ship to survive. (Note, one was historical). My character managed to board Boat 13 from the Promenade deck. As he was a navy officer, he took charge and let his group to safety.

Loved doing it this year, and 2022 should be even better.

Cheers.
