Titanic Voyage (RPG) - 2022

Hello, everyone. Another year has begun, which means it's time for me to post about Titanic Voyage RPG. For those of you who are wondering, Titanic Voyage is a roleplay game, created by Daniel Hobi, where you make your own character (fictional or historical) and experience the fatal voyage of the RMS Titanic in real time. The game runs entirely in British time, starts at 7:30 AM GMT (2:30 AM EST) on April 10, and ends at 9:30 PM GMT (4:30 PM EST) on April 18 to commemorate the anniversary of the sinking. The registration starts at 7:00 PM EST on March 9/12:00 AM GMT on March 10. Feel free to explore the ship and meet new friends. When the Titanic hits the iceberg on the night of April 14th and starts to sink, what will your fate be in the icy waters of the North Atlantic? I'll be seeing you on board this voyage as Mr. Allen Baggott.

This sounds cool! Ima pass though. For now at least (assuming we can experience the voyage over and over again like on Roblox). Frankly I'd rather experience a voyage on my favorite ship of all time without sinking. :p

Well you can only play this game once a year April 10th to April 18th.

The official trailer for this year is here. This year, they're adding a train that you can ride from London to Southampton. I hope everyone here is excited!

This seems like a really cool concept! I've never done anything like it before, but I'm on board (no pun intended...) I'm curious, though, if you wanted to play a real person, is that just sort of a "first come first served" thing on registration day? Also, would you be required to adhere to that person's real actions that night?

If you play a historical person you will share the persons fate. John Jacob Astor will die while Madelaine will be saved in lifeboat 4. You can't change the fate of a survivor or victim.

You have to apply to Critical crew and passengers and the team will select who play them. They are Ismay, Andrews, Captain Smith, the officers and a few others.

Otherwise it is first come first served. I think it is a good idea to check on the Facebook account Titanic-Voyage (RPG) Fan Group The most hardcore players make a passenger list before registration and it is considered bad style to take a passenger, some one else have written in the list because people sometimes use a year to prepare the voyage. You can send me private the person you will play so I can see if anyone I know of is also playing her/him. You can also ask in the group.

You can change a historical passengers actions in the game and their story so it better fit with you but not their fate. It was changed last year since someone had Benjamin Guggenheim surviving.

I played Ennis Hastings Watson from the guarantee group last year but this year I am actually playing five historicals.

You don't get the cabin belonging to your historical (only Ismay and Andrews). It is again first come first serve. Last year all the suites and special cabins on B and D deck were taken in 20 seconds. The rest of first class in 20 minutes and second class in an hour. Booking is March 10 at 12 am British time.

You can play severel people but need an e-mail for each one.

Don't be afraid to talk to others in the game. The community is really great.

You can also learn a lot by reading the Titanic Voyage wikipedia Titanic Voyage RPG Wiki the FAQ is really good Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Welcome onboard.
