We had a supe day round Titanica & the Ulster Folk Museum on 24 Sept 2011. However, the absolute highlight for us was when we were looking round the Fermanagh Farmhouse. The guide was a helpful & knowledgeable man called Henry. As we got talking, my husband commented that his ancestors would have lived in a similar home in the 18th century.(We live in the Isle of Man.) Henry told us that a group who had just left the Farmhouse came from the same village as our ancestors, so we ran outside to speak to them.....yes, you've guessed it! The men are long-lost distant cousins & the two families are now emailing to catch up. Thanks go to Henry! Without him this would not have happened. We shall definitely return to the Museum to learn more about Ulster's history.
