Tonight on the History Channel

is nothing! Unless they just haven't listed anything or I didn't read it. But I checked on the website looking for a documentary about Titanic or anything about it, but nope, nothing scheduled to air about Titanic tonight or tommorow, they do however, have an interactive educational look at it on their home page.

History Channel say what?? They air all their Titanic documentaries before the disaster, so that when it does actually come, they have nothing? Man, nobody thinks of the Titanic buffs when it comes to these kind of things. Anyway, what is everybody doing tonight? I can't believe it's only been 96 years since the disaster. It just seems a lot longer. I think Bob remembers the day pretty well when the newsboys shouted about the Titanic disaster.

Dana, just so you know, I don't know what street Canada is on either.

It really does bother me though, truly. I don't think it's fair...and also on their "This Day In History" where you can choose a date, well they don't even list Titanic for today! Instead they put "Abraham Lincoln shot" well...okay what about "Titanic strikes iceberg" Unless they are going to wait for April 15 and put "Titanic Sinks" I don't know.

As for Canada I don't think anyone knows where it is.

haha..I love Al Capone!

is nothing!

Frankly, that doesn't surprise me. Sure, it would be nice if the higher ups through the various tv stations thought of us during this time each year, but the reality is, there are probably very few or zero people that are Titanic enthusiasts who work in senior positions, that are in charge of what gets shown on their station.

It's unfortunate, but that's the fact of the matter. The solution: I've found that the best way to cure that problem, is to watch one of your own taped documentaries or one of the various movies, with a big bowl full of popcorn.

>>watch one of your own taped documentaries or one of the various movies, with a big bowl full of popcorn<<

That's my plan, with the possible exception of the popcorn. I was thinking more along the lines of a glass or two of Merlot.

If we look at the quality of most everything else that is on the broadcast airwaves, it is easy to see why no "Titanic" related programing is on during the actual anniversary dates. I would make a joke about mental horsepower, but I don't want to insult my local "village idiot". WILL

I too was hoping to see a Titanic documentary on the 15th but it was not to be. I had to go with the videos I have instead. If it helps, my father is a Lincoln enthusiast and they were not showing anything on Lincoln either so he was disappointed as well.
